For Women, With Women

Women in sport grow into leaders. Nothing about it is accidental.

Leadership development and team culture work for coaches, athletic departments, teams, conferences, women in the workplace and in life — from a female coach who has spent 35+ years winning at the highest level of NCAA sport.

Meet Beth

Beth Alford-Sullivan

Stanford · Penn State · Tennessee · UConn

Beth Alford-Sullivan is one of the most decorated coaches in NCAA track and field history — a 50-plus-time Coach of the Year who has developed more than 300 All-Americans while leading programs at the sport’s highest level. As the first and still one of only a few women ever to direct combined men’s and women’s Division I programs, Beth has spent her career blazing the trail she now helps other women walk.

Her first training was not in sport. As a young college athlete, her academic focus was in social work. It taught her a lot about how people hold up under pressure, how groups stay together, and what it takes to move someone forward. That is still the foundation underneath every room she works in.

Today Beth brings decades of knowledge and experience to build winning cultures: how to lead under pressure, develop talent, navigate leadership as a woman in the workplace and in sport, and turn potential into performance.
